BACHELOR OF ACCOUNTANCY (HONS) (JPT/BPP(PA3476)06/19)


 A career in accountancy puts you in good stead for the future as Accountants are in great demand in a variety of sectors and organisations. They include a range of job scopes in private businesses and industrial finance, the government service sectors and multinational corporate industries. Your future career paths may include specialisation in areas such as auditing, taxation, corporate finance or forensic accounting. UCSF accountancy programme is far from being all about number crunching. It exposes you to a suite of job-enhancing attributes such as leadership, problem-solving, team-work and communication skills. Graduates then can choose to work in the public sector, contributing to improve the government services, ensuring efficient use of financial resources and achieving higher values. They can also choose to work in the private sectors to bring about economic success for the businesses they work for.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • – Malaysian University English Test (MUET) Band 2Malaysian University English Test (MUET) Band 2 AND
  • – Pass Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or equivalent, with a minimum of Grade C+ (NGMP 2.33) in any TWO (2) subjects and credit Mathematics subject in SPM level; OR
  • – Pass Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum of Jayyid grade, and credit Mathematics subject in SPM level;  OR
  • – Diploma in accounting or related field, or equivalent, with a minimum of CGPA 2.50; OR
  • – Matriculation/Foundation qualification or equivalent, with a minimum of CGPA 2.50 and credit Mathematics in SPM level;
  • – Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least Grade B in FIVE (5) subjects including Mathematics; OR
  • – Other equivalent qualifications recognized by Malaysian Government.

Note: Requirement of credit Mathematics in SPM level for candidate (i), (ii), and (iv) can be excluded if that qualification contains Mathematics subject and achieved equivalently/more from credit requirement for that subject in SPM level.
