CONVOCATION MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR OF YAYASAN SABAH
On behalf of the Board of Directors of University College Sabah Foundation (UCSF), my heartiest congratulations not only to the graduates, but also to their parents, partners, relatives, and friends as well as the committed lecturers, staff and management of UCSF. I believe all of you, in your own respective ways, have sweated and worked very hard in playing your roles to support the students towards realizing their latent potentials for excellence. Today, you are the proud graduates of UCSF, the apex of the line of Sabah Foundation’s institutions for the rakyat of Sabah.
As you take your place in society in your new roles you must remember that our society has much expectations. I hope you will take on this responsibility seriously as catalysts of bringing positive transformative changes to further empower our people and the state. I believe you had been exposed to a holistic education that is uniquely Sabah and it is time you exhibit your special qualities to society at large.
As the Director of Sabah Foundation I am indeed very happy to note that our foundation has been true to its vision and mission of leveraging on education, as the best platform to develop human talents for the advancement of Sabah. Through education we believe we can empower our people to better their lives.
