Financial Assistance
UCSF is an institution of higher learning created to support the human talent building process of the state and nation. It caters to the higher education of all races, irrespective of background as long as they are Malaysians. Apart from its own scholarships, UCSF also receives support from various government related agencies, corporations as well as financial-assistance bodies.
UCSF PROGRESSION SCHOLARSHIP
UCSF Progression Scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship given through UCSF’s Bursary to both UCSF and external students, who are Sabahan, who have performed well in their foundation or diploma programme, and wish to continue their tertiary degree with UCSF.
The amount of the award will come in the form of discount as depicted by the figure below.
- Students need to apply for entry to any of UCSF’s degree first before they are allowed to apply to this scholarship.
- Subject to availability, the scholarship will be offered as subjected to availability and approved by the Bursar.
- Students who wish to apply may do so by completing a form which may be obtained from Scholarship Unit.

UCSF MERIT SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
- Merit Scholarship is awarded to outstanding students.
- Students who meet the scholarship eligibility criteria will be automatically offered the UCSF Merit Scholarship Award.
- The scholarship is tenable for the duration of the programme, subject to scholar’s satisfactory academic performance on a semester basis and good conduct.
