INSTITUTE BORNEO STUDIES (IBS)

This research institute focuses on the culture, society and nature in Borneo, emphasizing Sabah, which has a myriad of traditions and customs, history, and changing environmental issues. The social and natural environment of Borneo is a living lab for scientists and students to embark on pertinent research, and to generate and apply knowledge through the findings of these research for society and industries at large.
