Hailing from the Netherlands, Najmi Abdullah @ Thijs Hovenkamp is the Dean of FME. He lectures in a range of courses including Revenue Management, Leadership and Strategic Management. He brings a wide range of International experience with him. He has worked as a Managing Director of a resort in Portugal as well as an acting general Manager in Malaysia. He holds an MBA.

Norzaini Saupi is currently working at FME, UCSF for almost 8 years and appointed as a Deputy Dean. She pursued her Degree and Master at the Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) and graduated with Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in marketing and was awarded the MBA Specialization in Marketing. Thereafter, she taught Marketing and Entrepreneurship courses in UCSF. Recently, she published two articles in the International Journal of Psychosocial Rehabilitation (Scopus-Indexed). She is currently pursuing PhD research in the area of Umrah celebrity endorsement at UTHM.

Dr Amy Faizah Nain is a lecturer in statistics and economics at Faculty of Management and Entrepreneurship, University College Sabah Foundation (UCSF). Currently, she was posted as Head of Programme for Bachelor of Business Administration. Amy-Faizah has completed her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Human Resource Economics at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Accountancy, University of Malaysia Sabah in November 2019. Her areas of interest in research include female labour force participation, economic growth, fertility, econometric and statistics. She is also involved in developing modules on entrepreneurship especially for the short courses.

Barbarawati Richard completed her degree in accounting from University of Malaya in 2000. Continued her master in Business Administration (Accounting) at University Malaysia Sabah in 2011. She is expert in accounting especially cost accounting, management accounting, taxation and a trainer for UBS (an Accounting Software). Has been teaching since 2000 for diploma and degree programmes in various institutions i.e UiTM franchise programme, UNITAR franchise programme, OUM programme and In-House programme. Joined UCSF in November 2014 as lecturer. Appointed as the Deputy Dean cum Head of Department (Accounting) from 2016 until August 2018 and Faculty Dean from September 2018 until October 2022. Currently the Head of Programme for Diploma in Accounting since early 2023.

Harianah Basir is a lecturer at Faculty of Management and Entrepreneurship, University College Sabah Foundation (UCSF) since 2018. Her lecture is more on finance and accounting fields such as corporate finance, financial management, accounting information system, auditing, financial accounting and integrated case study. She completed her Master of Accountancy in 2015 at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) and Bachelor Degree majoring in Financial Management and Banking in 2009 at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS).

Hazlina Binti Babai is a lecturer with experience in Tourism Management, Tourism Planning and Hospitality. She graduated her study in Master of Science (Tourism Planning) and Bachelor of Business (Tourism Management) and started her journey as an educator in 2019 in a private local university college. During her master’s research she focused on ‘Creative Tourism Experience’ in Kiulu Farmstay Tamparuli which helped the research area to enhance their new tourism products innovation specifically in Creative Tourism. She currently works at University College Sabah Foundation (UCSF) where she is a lecturer as well as the Head of Programme for the Diploma in Tourism Management (DTM).

Jessica Justine is a lecturer with experiences from the hospitality, tourism & event industries. She is a Master Degree holder and has been with University College Sabah Foundation for more than 6 years. Besides being an educator, she has a passion for cooking and has run a full marathon!

Rohana Binti Arpa is a lecturer at the Faculty of Management and Entrepreneurship (FME), University College Sabah Foundation (UCSF) Kota Kinabalu. She completed her Bachelor Degree in Islamic Finance in 2013 at University Malaysia Sabah, Labuan International Campus and Master in Economics in 2016 at University Malaysia Sabah, Kota Kinabalu. After graduating, she became a part time tutor in Open University Malaysia (OUM) in her homeland (Sandakan) and started her full time lecturer at UCSF in 2019. Her main area of expertise is finance and currently teaching Islamic Finance Management, Financial Management, Islamic Finance and Banking System, and Introduction to Finance, for Diploma and Degree students at UCSF.

Right after graduating her first degree at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) in 2001, majoring in Banking and Finance, Siti Rahma Binti Malusirang worked as a Research Assistant at Borneo Marine Research Institute, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) for 10 years. During her attachment with BMRI UMS, she was actively doing research on the seaweed development project in Balambangan and Banggi Island, Kudat, funded by the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development.
In 2009, she pursued her Master Degree, by full research, entitled “To study roles of government agencies and human resource management practices of entrepreneurs in seaweed industry in Sabah”. Besides that, she joined another research funded by PEMANDU, the EPP3 New Key Economic Areas, Agricultural Seaweed Mini Estate, Business and Economic Cluster until March 2014.
While doing her Master, she was also a part time tutor at School of Business and Economics (currently known as Faculty of Business, Economics and Accountancy), UMS for 8 years, tutoring various management courses such as Corporate Communication, Principles of Management, Business Ethics, Human Resource Management and Microeconomics. She also presented her papers at both local and international seminars and conferences and published a paper in Journal of the Asian Academic of Applied Business as a co-authors.
She joined the Faculty of Management and Entrepreneurship (FME), UCSF in September 2016 as a part time lecturer for 2 years and decided to join UCSF as a full time lecturer in 2018. Her areas of interest are Islamic Human Resource Management, Human Resource Training and Development and Management. Besides teaching she is also invovled with an NGO and participated a training of trainers with Malaysian Against Pornography (MAP) Sabah in March 2020.

Thomas Joluis started his career in the hospitality and tourism industry before joining the education line in 2013. He has more than 7 years’ experience in delivering lectures, coaching and mentoring skills on hospitality and tourism management. Currently, he is working at University College Sabah Foundation. Thomas graduated first class in Bachelor of Science (Hons) Tourism Management from UiTM and holds a Master of Human Capital Management from UMS.

Akmal Nashren is currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Management and Entrepreneurship, University College Sabah Foundation (UCSF). Graduated from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) with a Diploma in Banking, Bachelor Degree (Hons) in Marketing and Master of Science (MSc) in Business and Management. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Business Management. He has been involved in research, conferences and also published several research articles in indexed journals. His research interests include marketing, service marketing, consumer behaviour, cooperatives management and social science studies..

Dr Delores Pammie Joeh is a lecturer with 12 years of teaching experience under her belt. Over the years she has been teaching mainly management and entrepreneurial subjects. Her education background consist of a Diploma in Business Administration (UiTM), Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Management Information System (UNiTAR), Master in Business Administration specializing in Entrepreneurship (UMS). She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Business Administration at UiTM. Besides teaching, she also has a liking to cooking and baking and has found it to be very therapeutic.

Clarice Julius Bedion is a lecturer in the Faculty of Management and Entrepreneurship (FME) currently teaching Management and Information Technology Courses. She is proficient in giving conceptual knowledge as well as developing new lessons and activities to expand learning opportunities of the students in UCSF.

Elthya Bt. Seben is a Faculty Officer in the Faculty of Management and Entrepreneurship (FME) since 2015. In this role, she plays a key part in managing the faculty’s administrative functions, ensuring efficient operations that support both academic staff and students. She holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Human Resource Development from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), earned in 2014. Her academic background in human resource development, paired with nearly a decade of hands-on experience in FME, provides her with a solid foundation in organizational and administrative operations.

Evaleena Viona holds a Bachelor in Accountancy, earned in 2016, and a Master in Business Administration, completed in 2019 at University Malaysia Sabah. She used to be an auditor for two years before pursuing her master’s degree. After completing her master’s, she served as a part-time lecturer and a trainer mostly for Accounting software (UBS Accounting, SQL Accounting and Autocount Accounting) at AMC College. Currently, she is fully committed as a full-time lecturer at University College Sabah Foundation.

Nur Suraiya Amira bt Rosli is a lecturer at the Faculty of Management and Entrepreneurship, University College Sabah Foundation (UCSF), where she specializes in Economics. She earned her Master’s Degree in Economics from Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) in 2024.
With more than a decade of continuous academic engagement in the field of economics, beginning from her early studies at the SPM and STPM levels through to her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, she has cultivated a profound passion for the discipline. She is committed to sharing her knowledge and helping students develop a solid understanding of economic theories and their practical applications in the real world.

Mr. Lance R.G has completed his Bachelor degree in Bachelor in Culinary Management (UiTM Shah Alam) and Diploma in Culinary Art (UiTM Bukit Mertajam). Before joining UCSF, he worked with the hospitality industry, specialize in pastry making at Marriott Putrajaya by IOI and Meridien Kota Kinabalu as commis. Then as a chef in a few restaurants specialize in asian and western cooking.

Masnie Dipin is a lecturer, expert in hospitality and tourism at Faculty of Management & Entrepreneurship, University College Sabah Foundation (UCSF). She has graduated with a Bachelor of Business Major in Hotel Management) from University Malaysia Sabah (UMS) with 7 years teaching experiences and been Certified ASEAN national Trainer (Food Production Division), certified by MOTEC (The ASEAN Mutual Recognition Arrangement on Tourism Professional and Trainer for Oracle Opera PMS (Front office software) & practical classes. She is also actively involved in knowledge sharing, and a leader for demonstration of hospitality courses and was appointed as a trainer for hospitality training for all Yayasan Sabah conservation areas.

A UiTM graduate, Ms. Melanie has completed her Master degree in Master Business Administration and Bachelor degree specialized in accounting. She successfully completed her courses in management, finance, human resources and business that had given her solid base upon accounting and management. She also has done various researches during her master degree specialized in corporate management. In addition, she have 4 years of experiences in public and private sectors that allow her to handle various administrative tasks in line with the requirements of the organization which has given her an adequate experience and knowledge that can be shared with the students. Currently, she works at University College Sabah Foundation as a lecturer and possessed almost 8 years of experience as educator.

Michelina David is currently a tourism lecturer at UCSF Sabah. She holds a Master of Science in Tourism Management from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Cawangan Sabah and has previous experience working in the tourism industry. She has been involved in research and journal publications, with her interests focusing on travel intention, travellers’ behaviour, and culture. Combining academic knowledge with industry experience, she is dedicated to guiding her students in the field of tourism.

Given an opportunity to grow up, Murni Lakasi has the opportunity to become a trainer at University College Sabah Foundation. She is also responsible for pastry kitchen management at Ijau Cafe and Restaurant.
She started her career working in a fast food restaurant for almost a year. Before joining UCSF, she worked with the hospitality industry, specializing in pastry making, for 6 years. To add, she completed her Diploma in Hospitality and Catering Management in 2012 at Politeknik Kota Kinabalu. She is also able to communicate using sign language.

Nina Elisa Sualim holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Tourism Management from UiTM and a Master of Business Administration from KLMUC. She is an experienced lecturer with over 10 years in the education industry, specializing in Tourism, Events, and Hospitality. With a passion for travel, arts, and technology, Nina is dedicated to inspiring students and fostering industry-relevant skills. Her research interests focus on soft adventure tourism, culture, and event design, where she aims to contribute meaningfully to both academic and industry advancements.

Noratina Kellysha Binti Jemsa  holds a Diploma in Banking, a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons.) Marketing, and a Master of Business Administration from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Sabah. She has over six years of industry experience focusing on marketing, promotion, and franchising operations. Transitioning into academia, she has accumulated more than three years of teaching experience in private higher education institutions as a Lecturer. Specializing in Marketing, she integrates her professional background with teaching expertise to provide students with applied perspectives in marketing, franchising, and business management.

Nur Fikri Jainol is a lecturer at the faculty of Management and Entrepreneurship at Universitu College Sabah Foundation. He specialises in Hospitality and Tourism. Fikri has completed both his Diploma & Bachelor Degree in Tourism Management (UiTM Sabah Campus) and is currently pursuing his Masters in the same field. (UiTM Sabah Campus). He worked with Hilton Kota Kinabalu for almost 3 years as an Executive Lounge Operative of the Front Office Department, specializing in customer service and the handling of VIP guests.
During his time at Hilton, Fikri was trained in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Technical Service Agreement (TSA) as well as Food Hygiene

Passionate in teaching and sharing knowledge, with more than 10 years of teaching experiences. Nurul graduated from University Putra Malaysia with a Master of Computer Science, specializing in Software Engineering. She started teaching at private institutions from 2005, focusing on Information Technology, Management Information System and E-commerce. She is also active in conducting in-house training related to the Learning Information System./p>

Paveethra  is a dedicated lecturer in Hospitality Services, specializing in Food & Beverage Management. She began her academic journey with a Foundation in Management at UNITAR International College (Penang) and holds a Bachelor of Business with Honours in Hotel Management from Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Human Capital Management at UMS. After her degree, she gained valuable industry experience in the food and beverage sector, progressing from a crew member to a team leader with a well-established company. Her transition into academia began at NBUC College, where she was appointed as a Full-Time Lecturer teaching core Hotel Management subjects. She was later promoted to Head of Programme for Hotel Management, where she successfully guided the programme through MQA audits and contributed to academic quality assurance. In 2025, she joined the University College Sabah Foundation (UCSF) as a Lecturer in Food & Beverage Management, where she also manages the Beverage Department at the university’s Ijau Restaurant & Café.

Sandra Ynette F. holds a Master and Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Diploma in Public Administration from UiTM. Prior to joining UCSF as a full-time lecturer, she served as a part-time as well as full-time lecturer in other institutions for 5 years. In addition, she has 3 years of experience in private sector which allow her to handle various tasks and this has given her the adequate experience and knowledge that can be shared with students. Passionate in teaching and sharing knowledge with others, she wishes to educate more people on the current laws of Malaysia including Business Law and Company Law.

Siti Nauwera Juli  is a Lecturer specializing in Hospitality and Tourism, with a strong background in the service and hotel industry. She holds a Bachelor of Hospitality & Tourism Management (Hons) from University College Sabah Foundation and has accumulated hands-on experience in both front office operations and room division management. With her industry knowledge and academic background, she brings practical insights into her teaching, preparing students with the skills and professionalism required for the tourism and hospitality field. Passionate about education, Siti integrates real-world hospitality practices into her lectures, fostering interactive and engaging learning experiences. She is committed to guiding students towards excellence in their academic and professional paths.
