Continuation of the Ethnographic Research on Maritime Community: Pala’uh Lepa of Pulau Maiga, Bodgaya, Bohey Buhal and Bohey Dulang Semporna: Rituals and Magic
About the research
The research focuses on rituals, sacred places and traditional belief system of the Pala’uh Lepa community. As part of the research outcome, a paper had been presented at the International Conference of Bajau/Sama Diaspora organised by Museum Sabah. The State Security Council also requested IBS to present a paper and video presentation on the Life of the Pala’uh as an anthropological induction for their officers in lieu of the security reasons on the Eastern Coast of Sabah.
