Beach Clean-Up in conjunction with International Coastal Clean-Up (ICC) 2019 – The objective of this activity is to collect data for the ocean conservancy in Kg. Kibagu beach area. This joint-project with the theme “Sustaining Kota Kinabalu’s Marine Heritage” will focus on citizen science (the public) of which involve local and international volunteers. The event was co-organized by Sutera Harbour Resorts, Borneo Marine Research Institute, Universiti Malaysia Sabah and UCSF. This project also is co-sponsored by Jebsen & Jessen, a company from Singapore.
