The Centre for Research & Innovation Management (CRIM) has organized UCSF Discourse Series presented by Dr. Roslina Ismail, from School of Social and Economic Development, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT).
The presentation on “Serious or Frivolous? Systemic Commitments Influencing Governance of Natural Resources in the Affluent Countries of the Muslim World” is based on research which examined systemic commitments influencing the governance of natural resources and also assesses the extent to which the systemic commitments with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) have an impact on the governance of natural resources. The talk proposes the need for Malaysia to reevaluate and strengthen its position in the OIC arena to balance with its environmental commitments with other systemic factors.
