WORKSHOP ON JOURNAL PUBLICATION

The Institute Borneo Studies (IBS) organized a Workshop on Journal Publication – Strategies for Journal Publication in the Social Sciences & Sciences from May 16-17, 2019. The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Mohd Suhaimi, Senior Lecturer of Psychology & Human Development Studies, Faculty of Social Science & Humanities, UKM.
The purpose of the workshops was to provide training sessions to lecturers to develop a practical research proposals and publications of their research work, provide guidance on what is required from significant journal and digital technologies on publishing as well as to understand the structures of academic articles and get to know the main reasons why papers are rejected. Thirty participants consist of the lecturers from the four faculties in UCSF as well as participants from WWF, UITM and UMS attended the program. The covered topics include Scholarly Publishing, Guidelines on Writing Academic Articles and Guidelines for Submission and Review Process. Dr Suhaimi also shared practical tips for Impact in Full Writing.
